Berry Grand Sud territory

On an axis Suisse-Océan (by Poitiers), the territory "Berry Grand Sud" is on the Clermont-Tours road between Montluçon and Châteauroux, 30km from the A71 Orleans-Clermont motorway which places it at 2h30 from the capital . At the extreme south of the Cher department, in the extreme south-east of the Center Region, it touches the departments of Allier, Creuse and Indre. Without claiming the title of Center of France (there are already several nearby including 2 on the territory: Bruers Allichamps, Saulzais-le-Potier and Vesdun), we can say that "Berry Grand Sud" is really in the heart of France.

Located between the Boischaut and the Marche, our hedged farmland, mainly dedicated to livestock, is mainly known for its vineyards, especially for its gray wine. Crossed by the path of St Jacques de Compostela and the Path of the Masters Knights, it is a pleasant territory for hiking but also conducive to fishing with its many ponds and rivers. This territory, where Romanesque art is omnipresent, has a long history since it goes back to the 3rd century BC ... Gallic period ....
